Microsoft’s April 2019 KBs causing systems to freeze!

So it looks like this month’s round of updates are causing their fair share of problems, namely with KBs 4493472 and 4493446 affecting Windows 7, 8.1, Server 2008 R2, and 2012 R2.  Additionally, another commonality with these affected machines is that they also appear to have Sophos Antivirus installed which means that they only way to fix it is to disable the A/V agent or uninstall the KBs in question.  Check out articles / reports from Spiceworks here and Askwoody’s Woody Leonard here for more details…
